Step 1: disassembly of the existing tap
First of all, we provide the necessary protection for your floor and kitchen. This way, we make sure we can leave your kitchen in clean condition. After that, of course, we start by disconnecting the pipes from your existing tap. We disassemble your old kitchen tap and all its parts.
Step 2: preparation of the kitchen worktop and cupboard
Together with you, we determine the exact position of your new tap, controls and any spray head. If required, we adapt the existing recesses or drill an additional hole in the kitchen worktop. It goes without saying that our technicians have the right equipment for this.
Step 3: identifying the location of components
A complete installation consists of a tap, water pipe cooler, filter, control box and CO2 cylinder. First, we carefully unpack these. We look for the best place in your kitchen cupboard for all these components. This is done in consultation with you, because you obviously want to make the best possible use of all the available space. If necessary (depending on the size of your cupboard and the type of appliance), we provide extra ventilation holes in the bottom of the cupboard.
Step 4: the actual connection
The components of your installation are finally mounted in the cupboard. We connect all the necessary pipes: from the tap to the filter, from the filter to the appliance and from the appliance to the control box. We attach great importance to order and tidiness, so we make sure that the pipes are not criss-crossed.
Step 5: commissioning the installation
Then we connect the CO2 cylinder. We vent your brand new water cooler, start up the installation and allow the water to run briefly. Obviously, we make sure there are no leaks anywhere. And last but not least, we taste whether your water tastes good. This way we can be sure that the quality is optimal.
Step 6: follow-up
After we have cleaned up our equipment neatly, we will obviously provide you with a brief explanation. Every component of your new AQUALEX installation will be discussed. This way, you know exactly how to operate your new tap. We also show you how to change the CO2 cylinder - something some people are (unfairly) nervous about. And of course, we will tell you when we will visit you for maintenance of your installation.
Step 7: let’s taste!
Just 45 more minutes of patience... Please give your appliance time to cool your water properly, because the cooler, the tastier your sparkling water will be. Then you can treat yourself to a delicious glass of water!
